Sat., Dec. 17 is the annual “Santa Comes Down the Town Lift” event on the Town Lift Plaza, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the holiday cheer with you! Beginning at 5:30 pm, we’ll have plenty of merriment to go around as we await his arrival. Once he’s here, you and your kids can get your picture taken with Santa by EpicMix Photo.

Torchlight Parade - Christmas in Park City

Join us for a tradition as old as the resort itself. That means it will turn 54 this year! This is also one of our most special and longest-running traditions, creating a special seasonal atmosphere here on Christmas Eve.  Before the actual parade, the fun starts at 5:30 pm in Park City Base Area with holiday music and holiday cheer, all free for your entire family.

This magical holiday tradition at Deer Valley Resort is not to be missed!  The Torchlight Parade will begin around 6pm and will be held on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, behind Snow Park Lodge. Complimentary hot cider and cookies will be served on the Snow Park Plaza.

Park City’s New Year’s Eve Celebration is held at Canyons Village with fireworks going off at around 7:30pm.  It is a great way for you and all of your friends and family to kick-off your New Year’s Eve celebrations. In addition to the fireworks show, enjoy fire pits, hot cocoa, and live music by the Metro Music Club.

In the last 10 days the cold temps have arrived and both natural and Vail made snow is piling up. so the Park City Ski Resort is now Open at both the Park City base area and the Canyons Village base area (formally the Canyons Ski Resort).

They continue to make snow as the temperatures have been very cold. Our ski season is off to a good start! I am sitting here now watching the mountain disappear into the fog of snow as the parking lot fills up with skiers. It’s a beautiful sight!

The Snow has Arrived

The snow has arrived!. The mountains are turning white and the temps have dropped.

This weekend is the annual Park City ski swap Ski Magazine says “One of the best ski swaps in the country”. Come on out and get yourself some new equipment.
